Bellevue Chamber of Commerce Website, Newsletter & Event Invitations

As the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, I am responsible for the planning, design and implementation of all marketing materials. This includes invitations, programs, Powerpoint presentations and banners for seven signature events each year (average attendance 400-700).

In October of 2009 I redesigned the Voice of Business newsletter, taking it from an 8-page newsprint publication to a virtual online publication averaging 16-20 pages.

In November of 2011, I designed and built a brand new website, including integration with a new membership management software platform.

Nuprecon Website & Wall Calendars

Nuprecon LP (now part of NCM Group) specializes in large-scale demoliton and environmental remediation projects nationwide. As the Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer, I redesigned and built their new website and designed several full-page ads that were featured in national and international trade publications. During this time I also photographed many local projects, some of which were featured in local and national publications including ENR Magazine and Northwest Magazine.

When I started at Nuprecon, they had been ordering an annual wall calendar, designed from a static template that allowed minimal customization. I brought the design in-house, creating my own template in Illustrator and designing a unique layout for each year. I continued to produce their annual calendar even after leaving the company in 2008.

CST Environmental Website & Marketing Collateral

CST Environmental (now part of NCM Group) specializes in large-scale demoliton and environmental remediation projects nationwide. They needed to update their website and marketing materials to better reflect the strength of the brand and the size of the corporation. They were also looking to expand their services into emergency disaster response and wanted to have several tear sheets available to quickly assemble a marketing packet that emphasized their experience and expertise, and which could be customized for the type of project they were bidding.

Working with their Director of National Marketing and Sales, I produced a website to their specifications and then carried that look and feel into the design of the folder and tear sheets.

  • Dreamweaver
  • Flash
  • Illustrator

The Moyer Foundation - Event Collateral

The Moyer Foundation was founded by MLB All-Star pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen. Since 2000, The Moyer Foundation has raised millions of dollars to support hundreds of different programs that help children in distress, including Camp Erin, a free camp for children dealing with bereavement, and Camp Mariposa for children affected by addiction in their families.

I was happy to be able to assist The Foundation with the collateral design for their 2010 Annual Giving Lunch. This included a Save the Date postcard which was followed by a printed invitation, envelope and response card. Later that year, I also designed a Save the Date magnet for their 2010 New Year's Eve fundraiser.

Western Association of Chamber Executives Tool Kit

In 2010, the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) wanted to present an updated Tool Kit at their annual convention. The Tool Kit is designed to be a resource for Chamber executives and volunteers, outlining industry best practices and providing samples of cutting-edge communication designs and strategies. The Tool Kit had not been updated in many years, and there was no electronic version from which to structure the new document.

I began the design and production of the Tool Kit by using an OCR scanner to capture the text from the previous document, allowing text updates to be made without the need to retype the entire document (150+ pages). I also coordinated with marketing professionals at other Chambers to provide communication examples, executive photos and quotes. The final result was an electronic document that was delivered in pdf format on a thumb drive, with a link to the online electronic document as well as links to all of the original communication sample files.

All God's Beautiful Children Business Package & Marketing Collateral

All God's Beautiful Children is a non-profit organization that works to build schools in the hill tribe areas of northern Thailand. Its founder, Stacia Davis, started the project after living for over a year in the Kewsua village, teaching English to the children of the village and neighboring tribes. Moved by the extreme poverty of the village and the lack of funding from the Thai government, she started the organization to fund education programs for this and other remote villages in order to give these children the opportunity to make a better life for themselves and their families.

I was happy to help Stacia develop a brand for her new organization as well as create marketing materials to share her vision and raise funds to help support her mission. These materials were showcased at the 2008 Seattle Marathon Expo where the organization was a featured charity.
